Loomstate Silica Cloth
Silica cloth is a silicate fiber textile working for extemely high temperature resistance up to 800~1000℃. Classification by on the SiO2 content, there is middle temperature silica fabric with 70% SiO2 and over 96% SiO2. Compared with ceramic cloth, silica cloth is much cleaner and easily fabrication.
Typical finish for silica cloth: PU weave setting; Vermiculite coated
They can provides silica cloth weave setting and abrasion resistance, easy fabrication.
FAQ:
Shrinakge: Preshunk finish: High temperature shrinkage finish (heat treated) makes regular silica cloth 7-10& minimized shrinkage less than 3% under 1000℃.
Strength: It is very important silica cloth keeps a high and stable strength, especially the silica cloth used for further process like coating, lamination or other composite.
Leached: Silica cloth made from leached E glass fabric has low cost and low price. There is a problem unstable and low strength
